About The Founder
Ashley Wimbush, also known as DJ Alpha Whiskey, is a passionate advocate for social change and the founder of the Enlightened Leaders Initiative in Memphis, TN. Launched in January 2024, this nonprofit empowers emerging leaders through STEAM education, mentorship, and community engagement, aiming to cultivate a new generation of ethical, inclusive, and transformative leaders. In addition to her impactful work with the Enlightened Leaders Initiative, Ashley is a well-known DJ, recognized for her ability to energize audiences with her diverse musical styles. She also works as an air traffic controller, balancing the demands of her high-stakes career with her commitment to community service. Ashley’s unique blend of talents and dedication to fostering leadership in her community makes her a remarkable force for positive change in Memphis and beyond.
